The corporation originated in Plovdiv - the second largest city in Bulgaria. It was here that in the early 90's, Saedinenie National Investment Fund was founded to allow participation in the First Wave of mass privatization in Bulgaria. Saedinenie National Investment Fund later became the backbone of the privatization fund of the same name. Later, the privatization fund was reregistered as a holding company.

1992
The Saedinenie Investor-Expert Economic
Group was formed for the development of investment strategies.
6th September 1993
Saedinenie National Investment Fund was founded.
14th June 1996
The Bulgarian Securities and Exchange Commission approved a prospectus for the establishment of Saedinenie National Privatization Fund.
26th September 1996
The constituent meeting of Saedinenie National Privatization Fund was held in Plovdiv.
28th October 1996.
Saedinenie was granted a license from the Bulgarian Securities and Exchange Commission to operate as a Privatization Fund.
11th November 1996
Saedinenie National Privatization Fund was enlisted in the Commercial Register kept with the District Court of the city of Plovdiv pursuant to a court decision.
December 1996 - May 1997
Saedinenie NPF took part in all three auctions within the first wave of mass privatization, and acquired 1,021,000 shares from 52 companies as a result thereof.
5th December 1997
A general meeting of the shareholders decided to reorganize the Privatization Fund into a Holding Company - the Saedinenie Corporation JSC.
30th July 1998
A general meeting of the shareholders decided that Saedinenie National Investment Fund should be taken over by the Saedinenie Corporation PLC.
6th December 2000
The company's registered capital was raised up to 2,000,000 BGN.
