About us

In 1992, the Investment Group ‘Saedinenie’ (Union) was founded by a group of investors.

In September 1993, Investment Group ‘Saedinenie’ founded the National Investment Fund ‘Saedinenie’.

In June 1996, the Securities and Exchange Commission approved the raising of capital for the creation of National Privatization Fund ‘Saedinenie’.

In September 1996, in Plovdiv was held the constituent meeting of National Privatization Fund ‘Saedinenie’.

In October 1996, the Securities and Exchange Commission granted the National Privatization Fund ‘Saedinenie’ a license allowing the fund to participate to the mass privatization process in Bulgaria.

Between December 1996 and May 1997, National Privatization Fund ‘Saedinenie’ tendered during the three sessions of the first stage of mass privatization and acquired as a result 1 021 000 stocks in 52 companies.

In 1997, the General Assembly of stockholders passed a resolution to convert the privatization fund into a holding company named Corporation ‘Saedinenie’ PLC.

In July 1998, the General Assembly of stockholders passed a resolution approving the bundling of National Privatization Fund ‘Saedinenie’ into Corporation ‘Saedinenie’ PLC.

In December 2000, the corporation’s stock increased to BGN 2 000 000.

In September 2004, Corporation ‘Saedinenie’ PLC was renamed to Technology and Innovation Corporation ‘Saedinenie’ PLC.

In March 2007, the General Assembly of stockholders passed a resolution to increase the capital to 1 000 000 through public offering.

In September 2007, after IPO, the Sofia City Court registered the increase of the corporation’s stock to BGN 3 000 008, distributed into 3 000 008 shares.

In August 2008, the Trade Register, the Financial Supervision Commission, Central Depository PLC and Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Sofia PLC registered the capital increase based on corporation’s net profit in 2007, whereas the General Assembly of Stockholders passed a resolution to allocate three new shares for each share thus increasing the capital of Technology and Innovation Corporation ‘Saedinenie’ to BGN 12 000 032, distributed into 12 000 032 shares.

On May 19, 2009, the Trade Register registered a new increase of the capital on the basis of corporation’s net profit in 2008 and the General Assembly of Stockholders passed a resolution to allocate one new share for each share thus increasing the capital of Technology and Innovation Corporation ‘Saedinenie’ to BGN 24 000 064, distributed into 24 000 064 shares.

On June 28, 2012, the General Assembly of Stockholders passed a resolution to change the company name from Technology and Innovation Corporation ‘Saedinenie’ PLC to Technology and Innovation Corporation PLC. The corporation's registered head office was transferred to 27a, Hristo Botev Blvd. The holding’s management system passed from two-tier (Supervisory Board and Managing Board) to one-tier (Board of Directors) system of management.
